Overview: New Mexico Community Capital (NMCC) is a private, nonprofit Community Development Financial Institution (CDFI) and Native American CDFI that provides capital and knowledge for New Mexico’s high-potential businesses in emerging or underserved markets. As a respected investor, advisor and facilitator, our goal is also to help advance the next generation of great New Mexico companies and entrepreneurs.

Since inception in 2004, NMCC has looked at the world through a different lens, part venture capital and part non-profit. Unlike any traditional venture capital fund, the NMCC fund management company is a wholly owned subsidiary of a non-profit, 501(c)3 parent. By way of this unique relationship, the organization combines the potential of venture capital with private-public sector and not-for-profit resources to help high-potential New Mexico businesses grow.
