CDVCA’s 4th Unlock Capital Showcase Connects Puerto Rican Startups with Investors and Growth Opportunities

The Community Development Venture Capital Alliance (CDVCA) recently hosted its 4th Unlock Capital – Puerto Rico Investor Showcase, where 10 companies spanning health care, technology, manufacturing, and consumer products pitched to investors and advisers. The event connected early-stage ventures with growth capital and strategic partners. “The Unlock Capital Investor Showcase provides a unique platform for emerging companies to demonstrate their ability for innovation and capacity for growth,” said Emmanuel Loubriel-Carreras, executive manager of the program. Since its launch in 2021, Unlock Capital has helped 59 businesses secure $13.6 million in financing, building on CDVCA’s decade-long track record of investment and impact in Puerto Rico. The program is supported through the Department of Housing’s Community Development Block Grant – Disaster Recovery funds, alongside local legal and financial partners.
