Industry News: MetaFund, a community development venture capital firm, has invested $300,000 in Unison, a seven-acre health and wellness collective along a medical corridor in north Oklahoma City. The development aims to bring together holistic care businesses while creating an inviting community space with enhanced green areas and a three-acre fishing pond. Located in a low-income census tract and adjacent to an underinvested neighborhood, Unison will provide pad sites for medical practitioners and wellness businesses, access to an event center, connected walkways, and green spaces. The project also plans to offer educational and wellness programming to foster connection and healing for local residents and students of a nearby charter elementary school. MetaFund, a CDVCA member, joins local physicians, community leaders, and close supporters of the managing partner in this investment to drive community development and innovative healthcare opportunities.
