CDVCA has launched the national Unlock Capital program to help high-growth entrepreneurs become ready to raise capital to fuel their development and success. The program offers a suite of services, including education, technical assistance, and mentoring for businesses seeking high-level support to attract venture capital and other risk financing. The program features industry leaders and experts who provide workshops, webinars and one-on-one mentoring. Services are offered remotely and tailored to individual business needs. Unlike most other accelerator programs that provide general business advice, Unlock Capital is laser-focused on helping companies identify and attract risk capital and equity financing to help fuel rapid growth and job creation. The program, based on CDVCA’s pioneering work establishing the Unlock Capital program in Puerto Rico, is supported by Department of the Treasury SSBCI technical assistance funding, awarded by the Minority Business Development Agency.
