This CDVCA investment will help Skootel expand its operations to 10 new markets and further develop its innovative logistics and data software. Skootel’s founders, Juan Carlos Parra and Aldo Briano returned to Puerto Rico from a decade in the Silicon Valley and launched Skootel in 2019. The company has grown to 2,600 scooters, 120 bikes, 5 markets, 1.5M+ rides, more than 200K users and more than 50 employees. Users have clocked more than 1.6M miles, saving 500+ tons of CO2 emissions and reducing the environmental footprint.
